Game Art & Design

The Game Art & Design program is designed to concentrate on the artistic side of games, not computer programming, this unique program is the first step toward becoming an artist and designer in the multi-billion dollar game design industry.

Students will strengthen their basic art and design skills, then learn how to design game play and backgrounds, create characters and their environments, and apply knowledge of video and computer games to evaluate game products so as to plan game environments and determine attributes for game characters.

Graduates will have the training and skills necessary to compete for entry-level positions in the game industry, such as game-play tester, 2D conceptual artist, 3D character builder, 3D object modeler, interactivity designer and background artist.
